Cat’s cradle

This assassination technique was created in ancient Persia, threads connected to all five fingers on both hands are used to kill by choking or severing, for this the weapon is kept hidden while they use irregular movements that are hard to read. The art of manipulating those threads is so complex and deeply involved that they say you need over 8000 hands to use it. The thread was originally made from natural fiber, but changed to synthetic fiber which improved its ability to kill and made it easier to conceal in ancient Persian legend it is said that a single assassin killed a giant phantom roc. This later came to japan in the form of a game called cat’s cradle (ayatori) via china, though few people know about its origins.
