This technique follows the same principles of the Satsugai Tenketsu in that it attacks the fluids in the body. The human body is made of fluid elements, such as blood and air, and solid parts like bones and muscle. Contrary to Muay Thai or Karate kicks that destroy solid parts the Floating Kick creates a shockwave to the fluid elements. That’s why it’s delivered with the foot and not the shinbone, allowing user to imprint a twisting motion at the point of contact. As the shockwave travels inside the body, it breaks the balance of the fluids, energy, blood and water creating a jolt to the internal organs which partially paralyze the body.
