Hinata City (also referred to as a town) is a scenic town facing Sagami Bay in the Kanagawa prefecture of Japan.
It was initially created when Hinata Urashima came to earth around the Taisho era and with her ships technology created her own personal hot spring in the land her parents originally owned. The sudden hot spring attracted many tourist and quickly became famous. As it grew in popularity many shop and homes were built as the tourist decided to stay. The town remained popular from the late Taisho era to the beginning of the Showa era of Japan, however the town become left behind by the times following the Pacific War.
Notably due to this the town still features antique streetcars/trams and the rare three-wheeled car. The town is also known for its thick fog coverage.
