Mugetsu-Ryu is a simple katana with an extremely long blade, reminiscent of a nodachi, with a decorated handguard, and traditional hilt-wrapping and pommel.
Shikai: It is triggered by the command "Fight".
Shikai Special Ability: Mugetsu-Ryu's special ability relies solely on swordsmanship and swordsmanship alone. It possesses immense cutting power, capable of slicing through nearly any attack directed to it. It also increases the senses to a point of complete awareness, allowing wielder to follow their opponent's movements, no matter how fast they are. This allows them to compete against even Bankai users. To an extent, it seems to increase the proficiency of wielder's natural speed, allowing their body to react quickly enough to surprise attacks. Due to it requiring little to no spiritual energy, it allows wielder to fight at a longer duration than other Shikai users.
Yasha's Empty Flash (夜叉閃空Yasha Senkū): A technique that allows user to slash whatever they are attacking without touching it with the blade, shattering even Amatsuooi or Zanpakuto with one attack.[2]
Garuda Flame (迦楼羅炎 Karura-en): A technique that creates fire from wielder's blade, it has the same properties as Yasha's Empty Flash.[3]
