In the Iron Cloth technique the relationship between the gymnast and their ribbon is like an electric guitar and an amp. The sound (wavelength) that comes from an electric guitar (gymnast) by itself is rather faint. But when you connect an amp (Weapon) to it, the wavelength is amplified, giving it a lot of power. But this technique allows user with just one guitar to make others hear their wavelength. The technique is essentially a form of self resonance. By resonating with opponent’s ki the user can drive their own wavelength directly into an opponent's body through a physical strike on them. The incompatible Wavelength can cause strong direct and internal damage. It was later discovered that the Planet Destruction Cannon technique is enhanced by water.
