This device is an advanced model of the Mind Shield that uses an electromagnetic barrier making wearer immune to the effects of telepathic manipulation at a cloaking range of about five feet. The Psi-Shield prevents Ethereal from sensing users mind as they close in allowing them to sneak in completely undetected. However the main function of the electromagnetic barrier is to prevent active attacks, not hide ones mind, so the Psi-Shield mainly relay’s on the Mind Shield components to hide user.
