This is a counter to the whip technique of the thorn. The technique begins with a simple wind barrier, a technique that is weak against thorn road attacks. However by kicking the barrier up user ups its air pressure. Resistance increases equal to force. Just like bullets from a .44 magnum ricocheting off water. So if user ricochets opponent they speed up and are launched into a wall.
